To graduate, students require 80 credits total at the grades 10, 11, 12 level– with a minimum of 16 credits at the grade 12 level, and 28 elective course credits.

Post-secondary institutions often require you to complete specific courses to get into certain programs. Careful planning in Grades 10, 11 and 12 will ensure you have all the courses and credits you need. Please check carefully with the requirements of your chosen post-secondary institutions and programs as they too are currently in transition.
Graduation Assessments
Students in the B.C. Graduation Program will have to complete three provincial assessments. They will focus on the demonstration and application of numeracy and literacy.
